In my scientific work, I focus on large-scale mapping and classification of urban greenery using remote sensing and object-based image analysis (OBIA). My dissertation focuses on the classification of tree species in urban environments, focusing on Bratislava as case study. Understanding the species composition of vegetation, my research connects vegetation to temperature conditions in urban structures and examines their relations.
